If you dont see that number on the install instructions or anywhere on the mod's info page, you can find it by locating the file Steam downloaded for that mod when you hit subscribe, if you need to do this I'll walk you through locating that. You then enable this mod with the launch options within properties (right click gold pack in library), add the listed "STEAMMOD=xxxxxxxx" number listed in that mod's install instructions into the the launch options field. Mainly as Steam's workshop will do the same thing for you now automatically and keep a mod updated as well, it putting it into your steam folder within your program files on subscription to a mod. Steam is a little different than just placing folders in the programfiles yourself from moddb like with the old original cd versions, though more streamlined once you understand it. Which mod? Also what EaW FoC do you have? GoG gold pack (gold pack is just eaw and foc together), or Steam gold pack?
If your pc is quite powerful, the remake mod on steam (also currently updated) is also pretty cool from what I hear, my i7-3770 / RX550 has no chance of running that though lol.Įdit: If you need an assist setting up any mod shoot a reply, can help explain how if their install instructions aren't getting it running correctly. Thrawn's Revenge (currently updated) is my favorite due to the sheer amount of work put into it over the years, from faction additions, to new UIs, to even texture improvements, and then new units and fleshed out EoTH, all while sticking to the original canon pre disney buyout.
